One of RPA’s Big Three solution providers, Automation Anywhere, has hired Yousef Khan to be its CIO. Sales of RPA solutions surged in the last year, increasing more than 63 percent in 2018 to $846 million, according to Gartner. Automation Anywhere cited that growth—and the global nature of it—as one of the reasons it brought Khan on as its first CIO.

Clyde Hosein, CFO of Automation Anywhere, said: “In a world of rapidly changing technology, Yousef’s industry knowledge, leadership and vision will play a fundamental role at Automation Anywhere as we continue to work towards our goal of helping organizations use automation to unchain human potential.”

Khan is a tech industry veteran. Prior to Automation Anywhere he served as CIO at AI solutions provider Moveworks. He was also the first CIO for data storage company Pure Storage.
