UiPath Names Enslin Co-CEO

RPA technology provider UiPath announced it has tapped former Google Cloud executive Robert Enslin to share chief executive duties with Daniel Dines, the company’s founder. Enslin, with more than three decades of experience leading enterprise software teams, will assume the co-CEO role at UiPath on May 16, 2022.

New York City-based UiPath is recognized as a leader in the RPA and intelligent automation space, but since its IPO a year ago, the company has faced significant headwinds. Investors have looked past rising revenues and focused on poor net earnings. The company expects revenue to remain strong and projects total revenue for fiscal 2023 to surpass $1 billion, according to a restatement of earnings last week.

According to UiPath, Enslin will focus on continued growth of the RPA pioneer, while current CEO, Daniel Dines will be responsible for maintaining the culture and vision of the company he founded in 2005.

“I’m bringing Rob on as my partner as we focus on growth at scale and building a company that reimagines how business is done,” said Dines. “Rob brings the right balance of experience and skills to scale our operations, allowing me to focus on our company culture, vision, and product innovation, areas I am passionate about – and that bring considerable value to our employees and customers.”

Enslin oversaw sales at Google Cloud as it reached double-digit market share. Previously, he spent more than 25 years at SAP, most recently as president of the cloud business group.
