Andgo Systems Nabs Funding Round to Automate Complex Staffing and Scheduling for Healthcare Companies

A Canadian software company specializing in intelligent workflow automation for organizational scheduling received CAD $5.6 million (USD $4.2 million) in Series A funding to develop its product aimed at industries with complex staffing needs. It is the most recent example of a spate of companies entering the automation space with solutions for industry- or function-specific process automation challenges.

Andgo systems, based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan enables healthcare organizations struggling with complex manual processes around dynamic absence onboarding, shift filling and vacation mapping, to automate those processes enabling them to “fill more shifts faster with the right people.”

“This funding will help Andgo address the far-reaching shift filling challenges that organizations are facing,” said Tom Ross, co-founder, and CEO, Andgo Systems. “Andgo is positioned as the category leader in driving intelligent shift fill automation in complex industries with unique staffing challenges, such as healthcare and manufacturing. We focus significant effort on providing flexible tools to make the lives of nurses and other frontline employees easier.”

The investment was led by Toronto-based First Ascent Ventures and Waterline Ventures of Boston.
