Automation Anywhere Taps Co-Founder as First Social Impact Officer

As automation matures, companies engaged in the space are putting more thought into the ethical role they play as they grow. To this end, RPA software technology Automation Anywhere has created the position of Social Impact Officer. The San Jose, Calif.-based organization has tapped one of its co-founders to fill the role. Automation Anywhere said, in the new role, Neeti Mehta Shukla will focus on how automation can be a “global force for good.”

“Automation isn’t only about driving speed, scale, and business efficiencies. At its core, it’s about making work more human, freeing people to unleash their potential and to go be great,” said Mehta Shukla. “With the launch of this office, we aim to build a self-sustaining model that will play a role in changing lives, both through technology for good and by helping people gain the expertise they need to take advantage of new career opportunities emerging in the automation economy.”
